ABOUT THE STARFLEET RESERVE

Since forming in December 2011, the Starfleet Reserve has continued to welcome new members of all different interests and play styles. We currently have 86 members (members being noted by accounts; a little over 150 total characters in the fleet), predominately from the U.S. Eastern and Central time zones. Our overall philosophy is simple - have fun. The Fleet imposes no expectations or requirements on its members as far as play styles, contributions, donations and time is concerned.

Any and all are welcomed in the Fleet as long as they respect the Code of Conduct and their fellow members. This includes Role Players (RP), which given the dynamics of RP we wanted to specifically address. Although we do not necessarily RP ourselves, we do welcome those interactions and will respect any on-going RP in the Fleet, so long as said RP does not forcibly impose itself on and is not insensitive to the rest of the membership. If a group of RP'ers want to sign up with the Starfleet Reserve and do their own thing, but still have access to the Fleet's resources, they are more than welcome to do so .

Our Fleet leadership is currently comprised of three (3) Command Admirals and six (6) Staff Admirals to ensure that the fleet is properly managed and that major decisions are not dictated - fairly or unfairly - by one person.

FLEET STARBASE

As of March 24, 2013:

The Starfleet Reserve has a T4 Starbase with a T4 Shipyard and Communications Array.  The T4 Fabricator is on-going.  When all is said and done, we'll have well over 200 requisitions available in each provisioning category, plus a healthy amount of Fleet boosts and operational assets.

We have a T2 Embassy and are in the process of focusing on getting the Embassy completed before the release of 'Legacy of Romulus' in May 2013.

FLEET RESOURCES

The Starfleet Reserve offers a complimentary Team Speak 3 server to its members, although participation on Team Speak is not required. The Fleet also has an interactive website - SFReserve.com - as well as a dedicated Facebook page and quarterly e-magazine!

JOINING THE STARFLEET RESERVE

All new members start at the rank of Recruit, giving them the ability to donate to the Starbase. After approximately one week, Recruits are automatically promoted to the rank of Associate - Associates have the ability to purchase from the Fleet's Provision Stores and have limited withdrawal rights to the Fleet Bank.
